  1. A carefully planned shot that nearly went wrong. This is a
  2. standard close up set up with ring flash and a black background.

  4. The exposure was known from past experience. That is the great
  5. advantage of using standard set pieces.

  7. I had found this Burnet moth chrysalis near home and brought it
  8. into my garage with a view to some shots.
  9.  
  10. I took some of the chrysalis, and hope to get the emergence. The
  11. next morning I went into the garage and there it was, out of the
  12. chrysalis and drying it's wings.
  13.  
  14. I grabbed my gear quickly and got both mono and colour results.
